Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. is a Dutch multinational dairy cooperative which is based in Amersfoort, Netherlands. It is the result of a merger between Friesland Foods and Campina on 31 December 2008.

Tom Hancock, Jennifer Hughe for the Financial Times mentioned how FrieslandCampina faces paper loss of €46m from Huishan Dairy holdings, "One of Europe’s biggest dairy companies, FrieslandCampina, is facing a paper loss of up to €46m from its holdings in China Huishan Dairy, the financially stressed company whose shares on Hong Kong’s exchanged suddenly plummeted 90 percent last week. The Dutch company formed a joint-venture with Huishan in 2015 as part of a deal for greater access to China’s vast baby formula market, which saw it buy $30m worth of shares in its Chinese partner. FrieslandCampina also paid $700m for half of Huishan Dairy’s Xiushui plant in the city of Shenyang, write Tom Hancock, Sherry Ju and Jennifer Hughes. The company valued the stake at €53m as of December 31st, since when Huishan’s shares have fallen 86 per cent – all of that on Friday. At current prices, that implies the Dutch group has lost €45.6m."

"My work as a Dairy Extension Services provider and at the same time a Veterinary doctor is a typical field work moving from one region to the other covering long distances in the process. Fun and adventure filled. Since I love animals, treating dairy cattle is great fun, training of farmers individually and group gives me the kind of satisfaction I love. The hardest part of the job is dealing with rural Fulani pastoralists who find it difficult adopting modern dairy practices because of the pride they have in their old traditions that support nomadism, intensive system, not very good hygienic environment, milking methods, etc. It takes them so long time to adopt any new effective methods. I love driving, training of farmers, consultation/advisory services and meeting people.. My colleagues are dedicated, diligent, truthful, friendly, reliable and intelligent. The salary is not very bad but can be better. "Ruim 2 jaar bij dit bedrijf gewerkt en geen meter opgeschoten qua opleiding. Je wordt te pas en te onpas ingezet en alleen als het druk is. Het is voor een uitzendkracht hard aanpoten want echt samengewerkt wordt er niet . Workflow controllers zitten alleen maar achter de computer. Ook tussen de verschillende afdelingen heerst een rare sfeer. Zo van dat is mijn pakkie an niet. Mensen lopen daar gedemotiveerd rond, uitzingen tot je pensioen is het motto. Meegemaakt dat iemand pas na 10 jaar een vast contract kreeg. Kortom geen goede werksfeer. Uitgezonderd een paar die het wel goed bedoelen.Goed salarisSlechte culcuur, laat zoveel mogelijk door een ander doen."
